Egg Donor Safety Policy

A.EggBank Code of Ethics established by the ADONIS A.EggBank outlines the professional and ethical guidelines for conducting Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) treatments and procedures.

It serves as a standard for all ADONIS Medical Centers, aiming to uphold the highest levels of practice for both clinical and ethical aspects for all staff members involved.

By implementing this Code, ADONIS A.EggBank aims to demonstrate its responsible and ethical approach in advising and treating patients within its centers. This commitment helps in fostering a strong foundation of trust within its markets.

A.EggBank Code of Ethics is based on the four main principles existing in medicine:

Non-Maleficence: 'First, do no harm': Paramount is the safety and well-being of donors and patients. A.EggBank bears the duty of ensuring no harm is inflicted upon the donors and patients throughout their care.

Beneficence: Upholding the donor's and patient's best interests is a fundamental principle. A.EggBank is entrusted to employ every available means to enhance the donor's and patients' health and overall quality of life. Optimal and advantageous treatment methods should always be chosen.

Autonomy: A.EggBank donors and patients possess the unrestricted right to make informed and independent decisions regarding their egg donation and medical treatment. Consent for any form of treatment or donation should only be obtained after providing clear, comprehensive, and impartial information about the options by the medical practitioners.

Justice: Equality in treatment and access to medical guidance, diagnosis, and treatment should be ensured for all donors and patients, striving for an impartial and fair healthcare system.

Following key standards serve as a means of communicating to staff, patients, donors, donor-conceived people and the public to which A.EggBank is committed. This Code of Ethics will be a dynamic document requiring continuous development as new issues arise:
